Absolutely chuffed with the locally caught fish at breakfast. Caroline really went all out with the veggie options too! The comfy lounge made for great evenings with fellow guests, and you can't beat that soundproofing.
It was a bit far from the town, but figuring out the bus route was a laugh, and the bar area felt a tad cramped, though I hear they're sorting that for the season!

charming stay with welcoming atmosphere
The landlady, Caroline, genuinely made our experience enjoyable. There was a wide selection of breakfast options, allowing us to start each day happily. The hotel also provided a pleasant garden view that further enhanced our stay and offered a lovely place to relax.
The location felt a bit distanced from the main attractions.

missingWrote a review on Aug 26spacious roomentertainment optionsoutdated communal areas
The room layout provided ample space, even accommodating a travel cot comfortably. Additional touches like a DVD player and a solid selection of board games kept things entertaining.
Accessing the garden felt a bit awkward, as it required going through the owner's space. The lack of a licensed bar was a letdown, and although the communal areas were clean, they could use a refresh as they came off a bit drab. The shower fluctuated from cool to hot, making it tricky to find a stable temperature.

We had a fantastic time at this charming spot, just a short stroll from the beach. Caroline was super friendly, and the breakfast was a standout with various options available! We enjoyed playing some mini-golf at Pirates Cove, making the trip even better.
In my wife’s opinion, the walk to the main pier was a bit long.

I had a lovely two-night stay where the breakfast spread was impressive, and I appreciated the jars of coffee and proper mugs in my room. There’s a cozy garden area and easy beach access for some relaxed vibes! Just a heads-up, the communal spaces could use a little update, but it didn’t take away from my great experience. ☕️

Caroline, the host, truly went above and beyond during my stay, arranging an earlier breakfast to accommodate my schedule. The room was spotlessly clean and the small touches, like a generous selection of refreshments, were appreciated. Breakfast was a highlight, with great vegetarian options available. the distance from the town center was a bit inconvenient, and the rooms, though comfortable, showed some signs of aging. Soundproofing was impressive, making for peaceful nights.
